Eat, Drink, and Take Away in St. Just
- The Square: Take away breakfasts, lunches, dinner specials, and great pizza. Nice salads and Sunday lunch roasts.
- Moomaid of Zennor: Now it’s the best Cornish ice cream on Market Square and great coffee. https://www.moomaidofzennor.com/
- Copper Kettle: Breakfast and lunch most days, eat in or take away. Look for them on facebook.
- New kid on the block (on Market Square, actually) is the Old Haberdashery Cafe. Great coffee and accompaniments, and interesting lunch offerings. But you absolutely have to show up or take away their Friday evening Indian thali offerings – they start serving at 6:00 with a queue forming before that and cook enough for about 60 each week.
- Dog and Rabbit: Excellent offerings for breakfast and lunch with indoor and outdoor seating and delightful ambience, or takeaway. Bar available.
- Jeremy’s Fish ‘n Chips: Evening hours Tu-Sat with classic fish and chips.
- Red Star Inn: Chinese take-away if you crave it.
- Pubs
- The Commercial which has a pleasant garden and patio behind it
- The King’s Arms
- The Star Inn
- The Wellington

- The Tolcarne Inn, Newlyn is chef Ben Tunnicliffe’s pub-based seafood restaurant.
- Cork & Fork is just around the corner from the Penzance Railway Station and the Premier Inn if you need dinner before the sleeper train. A new favourite for me – their locally sourced food is fabulous.
